Book an Appointment

1. How do I make an appointment to come and see you?

Simply click on a “Book An Appointment” link anywhere on this site, email us or call to speak to one of us about your requirements.

2. How long will my Ashberry bespoke piece take to be made?

As each Ashberry Bespoke creation is unique, it can take anywhere between around 3 to 8 weeks (depending on complexity), with most items taking about 4 weeks.

3. How do I place an order?

You can book a personal appointment to come see us, or we can arrange an order over the phone or email.

4. Do you offer a delivery service?

All items, assuming we have it in available that day, can be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, with a next day 1pm UK delivery guarantee.

5. What is the guarantee policy on your products?

We offer a one-year guarantee against manufacturing defects on all products.

6. How can I care for my Jewellery?

See our Jewellery Care section of the Journal for care advice.

7. Will you repair or clean an item that I didn’t originally purchase from Ashberry?

We are very happy to help repair and clean your jewellery items, but there will usually be a charge depending on the work required.

8. How can I get an item repaired?

We generally need to see your items to assess and quote you for the work needed, so please contact us to discuss your item and we can advise you on the best course of action.

9. Do you offer an engraving service?

Engraving is available for most items, though it can add extra time and cost for the service.

10. How can I find out my ring size?

The only accurate way to get your ring size is to measure it in person ourselves, so we therefore recommend doing this at an appointment. If you are unable to visit us we have a Journal entry with a downloadable guide to measure the finger yourself.

11. Can you value my jewellery?

Yes. We have a registered valuer on our team, and all Ashberry purchases come with a free valuation as standard.

12. I have some of my own gemstone jewellery – can you test if the stones are genuine?

We specialise in gemstone identification and valuation. Ashberry of York has a 45+ year history in diamond and gemstones, with our sister wholesale company supplying many of the UK’s finest jewellers. The team at Ashberry itself has 4 qualified gemmologists and a graduate geologist.

13. Can you recommend insurance for my purchases?

We recommend T.H.March jewellery insurance, and can supply their details on request.

14. What jewellery makers do you work with?

To ensure we supply the finest jewellery possible, we use only the best in their field. Whether it’s in the manufacturing of an Ashberry Bespoke piece, or one of our designer collections, only the best is good enough.

15. I am a student or professional jewellery designer and/or maker. Can you help source my stones?

We are very happy to help students who are just beginning their journey into gemmology and jewellery making. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
